Markitech / Marketing MCP Server

A marketing MCP server for ads, analytics and tags

Connect your AI assistant to Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager and 11 more platforms. Ask questions from Claude or another MCP client, and make approved changes in the Markitech app.

What is a marketing MCP server?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call tools in other systems. A marketing MCP server exposes your marketing platforms as those tools, so your AI can pull a GA4 report or inspect a Tag Manager container instead of just describing how you would do it.

Two ways to work

In the Markitech app, the agent has more than 170 tools across 16 platforms and can make changes, such as pausing a campaign, changing a budget or publishing a Tag Manager version, each held until you approve it. Through the MCP server, Claude and other AI clients that support remote MCP servers get more than 60 read-only tools across 14 of those platforms, so you can ask about campaigns, GA4 reports, Tag Manager containers and more from the assistant you already use.

One connection for the stack

Most MCP servers cover one platform. Markitech covers Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Center, BigQuery, Google Workspace and Meta's organic channels in one connection, so the AI can trace a conversion drop from the campaign, through the tag, to the analytics event in one conversation.

Built like a senior marketing ops engineer

Markitech is designed for the work that usually needs a specialist: Tag Manager audits and publishing, server-side containers, event and parameter design, Consent Mode and campaign planning. In the app it can also load your pages in a real browser to see which tags actually fire. It plans the change, shows you exactly what will happen, and only executes after you approve.

Markitech proposes each write action in chat, such as a budget change, a paused campaign or a Tag Manager publish, and holds it until you approve. This is enforced by the system, so it holds even if someone asks it to skip confirmation.

FAQ

Marketing MCP Server questions

Which platforms does the Markitech MCP server support?

Through MCP, read-only: Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Center, Business Profile, Display & Video 360, BigQuery, Google Sheets, Docs and Slides, Facebook Pages, Instagram and WhatsApp Business. The Markitech app adds Meta Ads and WordPress and can make approved changes. LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Advertising and TikTok Ads are coming soon.

Can my AI assistant make changes through MCP?

Not yet. The MCP server is read-only, so an outside assistant can look but cannot change anything. Changes are made in the Markitech app, where each one is held until you approve it.

Which AI assistants can connect?

Claude and other AI clients that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. Add https://mcp.markitech.app/mcp as a server, sign in with your Markitech account, and the assistant can read the platforms you connected.

How are credentials handled?

Markitech connects through each platform's own authorization flow. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and Markitech never sees or stores your platform passwords.
