Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and how to reach us about your data.
Updated November 4, 2026
Who we are
Markitech is a product of Red Wagon ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Markitech website at markitech.app, the Markitech app at app.markitech.app and the Markitech MCP server at mcp.markitech.app.
Questions about this policy or your data go to joe@redwagon.agency.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and the details you use to sign in, plus your workspace and team membership.
- Connected platform access: the OAuth tokens each platform issues when you connect it, or a WordPress application password. We never see or store your platform passwords.
- Platform data: the reports, settings and records Markitech retrieves from the platforms you connect, when you or the agent ask for them.
- Content you create: conversations, files you upload, images and documents Markitech generates, the playbooks and instructions you save, and the changes you approve.
- Billing information: your plan, credit purchases and invoices. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Website analytics: pages viewed, clicks and device information, collected with Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager.
How we use it
- To run Markitech: answer your questions, prepare changes, and make the changes you approve.
- To keep your accounts secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To bill you and manage your plan and credits.
- To send service emails, such as account notices, receipts and important updates.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your data, we do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use your account or platform data to train AI models.
Google user data
Markitech's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide the features you use in Markitech, is not transferred except to provide those features, for security or as required by law, and is not used for advertising or to train AI models.
Providers that process data for us
We use a small number of providers to run Markitech. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
- Hostinger: hosting for our servers and databases.
- Anthropic: the AI model that powers the Markitech agent. Conversation content and the platform data needed to answer a request are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. Anthropic's commercial terms say it does not train models on this data.
- Meta: image generation and editing, when you ask Markitech to make or edit an ad image.
- Stripe: payments and billing.
- Resend: delivery of service emails.
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on our website, and sign-in for the Google products you connect.
When you connect a platform such as Google Ads or Meta, Markitech sends requests to that platform on your behalf. That platform's own privacy policy applies to the data it holds.
Cookies
The Markitech app uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is open. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons, such as invoices. Disconnecting a platform deletes its stored token; you can also revoke Markitech's access in that platform's own security settings.
How we protect it
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Data is sent over HTTPS. Every change Markitech makes to a connected account is held until a person approves it, and the MCP server for outside AI assistants is read-only. See the security page for more detail.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing joe@redwagon.agency. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Children
Markitech is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and tell account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
