Can AI manage Google Ads campaigns?

Updated November 4, 2026 · Markitech team

The short answer

Yes, within limits you control. With Markitech, an AI can pull Google Ads performance, flag campaigns spending without converting, plan new campaigns, and pause or enable campaigns and change daily budgets. Every change is held until you approve it.

In more detail

The most common uses are fast answers and cleanup: which campaigns are spending without conversions, which are pacing over budget, and which should be paused.

For new campaigns, Markitech drafts the structure a senior PPC manager would build, including themed ad groups, keywords, responsive search ad copy, bidding strategy and conversion goals, for you to build in Google Ads.

Because it also reads GA4 and Tag Manager, it can check that the conversions bidding learns from are actually firing.

Markitech recommends current Google Ads bidding strategies, such as Maximize Conversions, Target CPA and Target ROAS, and you apply them in Google Ads. Enhanced CPC was retired for Search and Display campaigns in 2025, so it is not part of new plans.
