The short answer
Connecting a platform takes under two minutes, because each one uses its own sign-in. Most teams connect Google Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager, ask their first question and approve their first change on the same day.
In more detail
Setup has two parts: create your Markitech account, then connect each platform through its own authorization flow. If you also want answers in Claude or another AI assistant, add Markitech's MCP server there.
A good first step is a read-only question, such as last week’s spend and conversions by platform, to confirm every account is visible.
Larger projects, such as a server-side tracking migration, take longer because they include testing. The Managed plan adds done-for-you setup and live onboarding for teams that want help.
You can add platforms at any time. Many teams start with Google Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager, then connect Meta, Search Console and Merchant Center once the first workflows are running.

Key terms
Every change, approved by you
Markitech proposes each write action in chat, such as a budget change, a paused campaign or a Tag Manager publish, and holds it until you approve it. Reporting and lookups run without approval, so you can ask as many questions as you need.
